Welcome to The Gum Wrapper Review! This all started with a small zine project mid 2025. The goal with that project was to talk to people, understand the community around me, learn and grow from what others have discovered and taken in throughout their lives. My mission with this lit mag is not much different from that. Writing, for myself, is a deeply personal endeavor. I tend to pour myself completely into a piece of writing. I feel vulnerable when people read what I have given them, but it is all in the name of growth and connection. I want this to be a starting point and landing post for people of all backgrounds. People who are confident in their writing and self, and people who have been too scared to share who they are. I have no theme or tone. I only want YOU to express yourself and let it be known who you truly are as a writer.
